A 167M-parameter sequence-first protein foundation model (bioRxiv, March 2026) that leads ProteinGym stability among sequence-only models (ρ = 0.625) and generalizes to unseen antibody programs — outperforming frozen 650M ESM2 by 0.15 AUC on new programs (0.810 vs 0.660) with 3.9× fewer parameters, and beating the 100B-parameter xTrimoPGLM on stability by 39%.
